Vacancy : Career with Oil & Gas Company

A Malaysian based company providing an array of full – service engineering and construction management for offshore oil and gas industry, both domestic and international market. The Company is specialise in shallow water and deep water pipeline, subsea system and riser design, fixed and floating platform design and construction engineering.

In line with their rapid expansion, they are seeking energetic, highly motivated, and result oriented individuals to join their established Asia Pacific office in Kuala Lumpur for the following posts :-

1) Lead Structural Engineer
- A recognized B.Sc.Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- Eight ( 8 years above experiences with knowledge of international offshore and marine design codes and standard
- Good working knowledge of steel structure design, dynamic analysis, hydrodynamics, loading in wind, waves and current, fatigue and skid structure design
- Computer literate with knowledge of SACS, MathCAD and AutoCAD
- Fabrication and offshore construction experience will an advantage
- Good technical writing skills and team leader

2) Lead Mechanical / Piping Engineer
- A recognized B.Sc Mechanical Engineering and have at least eight ( 8 years practical experiences in the oil and gas industry pertaining to production facilities and mechanical design.
- Experience in the construction and commissioning would be an advantage.
- Broad background of oil production design for offshore area.
- Good technical writing skills and team leader


3) Lead Instrument Control Engineers
- A recognized B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least eight ( 8 years experience in similar design and installation of instruments for oil/gas production facilities.
- Candidate will be responsible and accountable for the overall engineering design,
- Capable of studying, commenting and approving vendor data documents
- An advantage to have experience in witnessing and approving FAT’s and SATs for instrumentation items.

4) Lead Electrical Engineer
- A recognized B.Sc Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least eight ( 8 years above practical experience in high and low voltage electrical power generation, transmission and distribution systems.
- An advantage to have experience in witnessing and approving FAT’s and SAT’s for instrumentation items.
- Experience in construction, maintenance and commissioning phases would be an advantage.
- Competent in application of EDSA

5) Lead Pipeline Engineer
- A recognized B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering of
- Physics Engineering with at least eight ( 8 years above practical experience in the design of submarine and onshore pipelines for the transportation of oil, gas and petroleum products.
- Familiar with material and construction specifications.
- Good technical writing skills and team leader.

6) Senior Pipeline Engineer
- A recognized B.Sc Degree in Mechanical Engineering of
- Physics Engineering with at least six (6)years above practical experience in the design of submarine and onshore pipelines for the transportation of oil, gas and petroleum products.
- Familiar with material and construction specifications.
